BlogRateDirectory is growing by leaps and bounds, we have over 800 blogs submitted and now we are up to 42,000 backlinks as reported by Google Webmasters Tools. Technically it would be a PR6 on the main page if Google was still updating the toolbar but the site is passing "link juice" to any blogs or sites that are submitted. I can verify this because GWT orders your IBL's (inbound links) by what would be the assumed Pagerank of the site linking to you and BlogRateDirectory is only surpassed by a PR7 link I have from Clush.com on one of my main blogs !!!
The Alexa ranking is currently hovering around 200K bu as soon as I get finished with the User Interface for the backend I expect the Alexa ranking to drop below 10,000 and possibly into the top 5000 sites on the internet by the end of 2007.

The missing blogs are mostly photo blogs that contained pictures of celebrities, scantiy clad women or borderling pornographic materials. The directory is for blogs that contain original content that is useful for readers, not for photo blogs that are publishing copyrighted photos.
You can read right on the submission page that photo blogs are not permitted, however considering the sheer amount that have been being submitted into the entertainment and photography categories, we'll be adding a specific category for photo blogs. |

Paul, I'm finishing up the Members Area and the BETA version will be completed by the end of the weekend. I'll send you a PM when I'm ready for you to help me test the interface and make sure everything is working. Also, don't worry, on first login to the Members area, you will be asked to claim all your blogs in the system that were registered to a particular email address. If you used different email addresses, you can make a request in the support folder.
I'm closing this thread now because all BlogRateDirectory comments, suggestions and support requests should be made on their own threads here...
