does any one know of a good way to spread the word about yourself without trying to sound like a spammer ??

I hate spammy people who just pretend to like a product and post numerous post in forums but when I like the products I try to inform people about them but as soon as I talk good about product and give away free codes away its automatically considered spam on some forums ???

any ideas???
