The truth is that “content is king”! In order to get good traffic on your website you need original and really good content. I recently joined a media company which is always putting out new and good content. By joining the company I am constantly learning new information.

Yeah they do have few writers  who are continuously sending us stories but the most important thing is that they are always coming up with original and good stories. The users are always coming back to read their stories which is enabling the site to have a bigger number of readers.

Try and get “exclusive” stories or interviews with people in your town. If you can not do that than try and put together some unique content based on stories from the Internet.

A great thing to do is write your own commentary on the latest headlines or top stories in your industry. Give your users your thoughts of what you think of a certain story in a formal way.

Most people are too lazy to develop their own original content. that's why they make MFA pages and stuff like that.

Sadly, there is a lack of original content around the net.
In order to get a lot of traffic to your blog, you have to try and get original content, and either be the first to post about it, or offer a new perspective to the subject manner to give the readers something new to read.
People don't want to hop from blog to blog reading the same stories.

Two to three years ago blogs were a really great thing but now everybody is doing the same thing and blogs are getting stale.

Plus, there are so many spammers who now use blogs and seo works to get their spam messages out. it sucks.

Anybody else feel the same way ?
