Can someone tell me why my backlinks keep fluctuating??? One day there were 350 then the next day there were none. Yesterday there were 85 and today there were none again. I am using the backlink checker on "iwebtool" by the way.

Are you using an automated linking strategy? This might be your problem.

If you are not, it could be that Google is not seeing your links on some pages or those pages have removed your link.

Google has been really up and down lately. I've seen my sites jump all over the place in the rankings and yes, links do disappear and reappear every now and then. I've found that using third party link checker tools isn't all that great though - try going to google and type link: www.yoursite.com instead.

One of the reason why your site's PR fluctuate is maybe most of your links before are no longer active or you have many links coming from a specific domain up to the point that your ink comming from that domain is no longer effective or no value to google.

I didn't think of that reasoning. Thanks for the tips.
