Many bloggers are using Craigslist to find freelance article writing jobs in in the "gigs" section especially since Courtney Tuttle mentioned it months ago. What many people don't know is that there are scammers preying on innocent authors and will rip you off if you don't know how to deal with freelancing properly.
Here's a great article from MySEOBlog that gives some pointers on not being a victim while trying to make a little extra cash.

That is a helpful article. It definitely would help anyone who deals with freelance writing. You can make money writing on the Net but make sure who you dealing with and do take some precaution especially payment wise.  |

| Thanks for the info, it's a minefield out there isnt it? lol. I'm always worried when I take on paid work that I dont get paid, your article might just save me a lot of time and effort ;). |

| Scammers seem to target every avenue of the internet these days. You really have to be careful with any offer you see. |
