I have been using Searchles site to submit my blog articles and the service has been very good until recently. It seems that now there are waves of bashers who will give your articles a bad rating without even reading them. Too bad that something good like Searchles has gone bad like Digg because of idiots who try to bash other people

Some people are such idiots. Searchles is actually at fault for having a 1-5 rating system. They should know to ban losers who vote the lowest rating on everything but their own articles.
I stopped using Searchles months ago because of the exact same thing, idiots voting down anything I submitted but voting up some useless YouTube video.. |

You would think that most people would behave maturely. It's very disheartening to work on an article for hours or days and submit it to Searches only to have a few jokers give it a 1 (the lowest vote) and you can tell they didn't even read the article because they vote so fast there is no way they could have read it.
I was thinking that maybe if I joined some communities related to my nich that would help but even though I got a bunch of good votes from those in my niche group there were still jokers who cast the lowest vote.
Then I go look at what they post and they've posted hundreds of article from CNN, AP Newswire, Wired, YouTube, etc... What's the point of an alternative news source when they are posting mostly mainstream stuff  |
