What would be the future? Already there are lot of such sites popping up. All will go down at one stage or what?

Some people say Web 2.0 bubble will burst like the dot com implosion of the late 1990's but I think Myspace, Facebook and a few others will survive the future.

For now, it's the best way to advertise and brand yourself and your business.

Therefore, I don't see them disappearing.  There will probably be more sites
with different spins on them, like Trafficera which combines a Traffic Exchange.

I think Facebook will survive because it's easy for them to simply release new software and updates with all of their developers.  As soon as something new hits they just release an update to fix all of that.

Cell phone social networking if that is not popular already.  Possibly Myspace and Facebook will create their own mobile gadgets only for social networking sites.
