PR is important for my site, so i try harder now for the quality content and backlink building. PR may be meaningless for you but it still matters for Google serps for other people like me.

I know they have made two updates in 2008 from my site going from a PR0 to a PR1 and then a PR2. Now I ma focused on more backlink building and I am hoping to get PR3 in the next update.

Can anyone predict when this should happen ?

By the way, it looks as if Google added something to their behavior. I have seen a bunch of pages go to PR0 without there being any other sort of update. These are pages that should have gone to zero once the update did occur (which is why I was trying to fix them before that happened ), but having pages lose PR in between updates is new.
