You're talking apples and oranges. You can't just move all the money you want into your 401K.
If you're thinking of opening a brokerage account and if you and your family can afford the potential loss, it's probably a good thing you get that experience in your life. The reason why.... is you never know if you're going to be one of those superstars who finds their niche or if you learn you aren't good. At least you try. That's the important thing.
for the record. I am bad at the stock market. I'm too implusive but trying to learn to find a niche I'm good at. |
