I just got accepted in this sponsored post program. its really nice cause you can look in their directory and "bid" on opportunities you want, plus people can request to buy from you. I just bid on 3 opportunities. Each one has their own requirements and pay for their review. Unlike some of the others where you wind up waiting till your blue in the face, you can bid on a bunch of opportunities so your not waiting around forever.

I haven't checked. For the site im doing on it doesn't make anything from affiliate or PPC clicks anyways, so I can afford to risk it.

here is what you were talking about I just found this:
http://www.techcrunch.com/2007/11/16/payperpost-bloggers-get-slammed-by-google/
Its payperpost.com not sponsoredreviews.com
smorty also brought it up in their admin panel.
In payperpost you have to have a button or something declaring its sponsored. Sponsoredreviews has no such requirement and often the people don't want you to say anything so it should be ok.
Im going to avoid any sponsored site like payperpost, where you have to tag the post/site as sponsored as it might send Google a red flag. |

Well like I said you can pick and choose. I bidded on 5 different ones and am just waiting for the response back from the advertisers. With the holidays and now the weekend its probably going to be some time before i hear a response.
You can choose whatever rate you want but when yo pick a price you have to search ones that are in your price range of what you are asking. You can only bid on those. You can always change your asking price though. |

I wouldn't totally rejected payperpost.com
http://payperpost.com/bloggers/ethics.html
if the advertiser doesn't require a "image" badge you can creatively write it in such a way you are sponsored without google picking it up but still following payperpost policy. |

Well obviously they have a referral program. You know my attitude on referral programs. The main reason I keep getting AdBrite checks every month is because I have over 100 publishers in my downline and even if I'm not rotating their ads much, I'm making money from having promoted the system to other publishers. Believe it or not, one of my best converter's of all is Adsense referrals. That's talking "conversions" not CPC or CPC stuff. Conversions are the hardest thing to accomplish.
I'll check out SponsoredReviews from your link. I usually always check out every new affiliate program and write some sort of review on them (like the one I just wrote trashing Smorty and then they released that statement the other day after I popped them). My next target for a bashing is ReviewMe because they are as bad as Text-Link-Ads and they'll end up not only ripping people off but they'll damage bloggers' reputations. Smorty is/was a joke, all the reviews were for casino sites or payday loans. I'd never, ever promote garbage like that for a few dollars. It's easier to go hustle my programming skills on DigitalPoint or Sitepoint and at least I don't feel like an ass for being used like a piece of toilet paper for some sleazy marketer to wipe their waste on my network. |
