I was turned on to this article about using geo-targeting when promoting the ebay affiliate program...

eBay Geo-targeting in PHP -  hedge’s house

It really makes sense that you should send your referrals to the appropriate ebay site for their country. As the author states, "If you are in the US and click on an ebay link and get sent to Ebay Canada, you'd not be likely to buy or signup under that affiliate link".

I actually thought eBay itself handled the geo-targeting but I guess I was wrong.
