I agree, the situation in Greece is really having an impact on Europe and the US. You wouldn't think one country could have so much impact but if you study the situation a bit you can see that Greece is a high-income economy with a $300 billion GDP. Being a part of the eurozone is a toss up for them as there are other countries with much lower economies that impact theirs.
As for the US stock market, I think Wall Street vascillates on any given excuse. If the market didn't go up and down, the traders and brokerage firms wouldn't keep making money. |
