Before you can inspire with emotion, you must be swamped with it yourself. Before you can move their tears, your own must flow. To convince them, you must yourself believe.

Unbelievable, but it's true....

She was a vibrant young mother who went to a Brooklyn hospital for what she thought was a kidney stone. She wound up leaving without her hands and feet because of what her lawyers call a "medical mistake."

Now, Tabitha Mullings is suing for $100 million.

The 32-year-old suffered an infection and ended up a quadriplegic with impaired vision.

"Because of this hospital, this emergency room, with back pain and side pain, and she leaves here on a stretcher with no hands and feet and legally blind," said Sanford Rubenstein, Mullings' attorney.

Thats a pretty horrific hospital tale. She should be suing for much more in my opinion.  Shocked

If I were in the situation..of course.. I would never let the night ends without letting the people behind this incident answers their negligence and malpractice....
Maybe that's the time that I'll say.."an eye for an eye..a tooth for a tooth"...The hospital which we ought to believe a safe sanctuary for the sick and injured falls into a lifetime calvary?...
huhuhu..that's a big damn...they must be careful since it's their profession and for how many years they practiced it... Mistake

It has happened severally in my country Kenya. A situation where the drip needle was left for too long and it caused the leg to start rotting. Instead of the doctors treat the leg, they decided to amputate the leg. The parents were adamant to sign for operation which led to the hospital suing the parents.  Luckily another doctor took up the situation and the kid only lost three toes... For this case the kid was lucky!
