Hi all, I am new here, happy that I find this great forum, thanks to the owner and fellow forum members for your contributions. I have just launched a new website for free local ads. However I am stuck with ideas on to promote the website.
Would appreciate your advice and suggestion.
Regards, Mark

Focus on basic SEO.
-Quality content that you update/add to on a regular basis
-Crate well placed backlinks
-Use good keywords and keyword phrases in your content. This will help people on search engines find your site. |

| If your website is for local ads, you can start creating a presense on the social networking websites and you can also consider taking banner ads on the related websites. This will give maximum benefits for your business. |

| In addition to basic SEO, go for websites like Stumble, Traffup, Reddit, Digg, Twitter, Facebook, Ycombinator, Delicious, Hubpages.. |
