Content stealing is one of the common thing that happes, however such copied content will not be recognised in Google. It will be shown as copied content.
So you think even after content has been stolen, Google will still value the original post??
post to your site first, get your article page indexed.
then re-post anywhere you want and put a link back to the original so google knows its syndicated on purpose.
if you are worried about stealers, then you need to find how to bookmark your content fast such as using digg or something else so that google will index it straight away
They are not likely to get any benefit from it, thanks to Google Panda..
