I have been trying to promote with articles, backlinks, forums and everything else that I can think of.

I've been working very hard at it all and looking into all the techniques I can.

Just wanted to know what other people use and has been working for you?

I think you are on the right track.  You have to simply come to the understanding that this is a business and there is no quick or easy way to build a real business.  The only was for long lasting success if hard work over a period of time.  There are certain thing you must do, but they all take time and work and some may even cost a bit of money to do properly.  Keep learning all you can and also remember that you must take action everyday while you learn.  Here is a piece you should read that I found while looking for the same answers.

This is a Must Read it will set you FREE if you are an Internet Marketer Struggling to Figure it all out.  Read this completely and then come back and post comments.

WHY are you doing this the hard way? look this up or contact me for more information on this subject

Over the last 2 weeks I have had a handful of conversations that have absolutely blown my mind. I am nothing short of amazed at the hoops people jump through, the money people spend, or the messes people get into trying to make money online.
Newsflash: Internet Marketing is not that complicated!

There is no big secret to making money online. I have yet to figure out why people tend to over-complicate it, or treat it like some myth from a sci-fi movie. Or go at it like a treasure hunt… instead of a business model.

For gaining traffic to your site, you will be looking at some time being spent and lots of patience. My best sources would be social networking sites, links on other blogs, and repeat visits from regular readers. One more thing is driving traffic from existing visitors is a good idea, just by adding a tell a friend button on web site - visitors can automatically email their friends about your website whenever they find something they'd like to share.
