These tips intended for newbie web designer.
1. Center the div by setting left and right margin to auto
2. Use right sidebar after the main content, for SEO purpose the main content should seen by search engine first
3. Visually distinguish side bar
4. Use contrast
5. Use footer
6. Where possible use single column layout.
7. Use HTML5

| Heck, these tips still hold up when your a seasoned pro. Might I add to make a master CSS file instead of having multiple CSS files for every single page on your website. Furthermore when using images make sure that they are optimized for, otherwise you will end up getting slow load times. |
