Hi friends,
I am designing a website for a blood bank, can anybody please guide me what should I keep in mind while creating the graphics and the layout of the website.
and if anybody can give me some generalized tips for web designing...

I would say to keep the graphics as simple as possible. Most designers try to stay away from the color red but in this case you might want to use red in your designs.

Hi,

Looks like you’re pretty young in web design field.  Anyways, you should use white, red or maroon color schemes with a touch of gray to it. Due to the subject nature, the websites must look very simple yet hard hitting. Visit Servana (my signature link) to get lots of graphic design ideas.
