Hello, I have recently set up my own t-shirt website selling t-shirts online, mainly with printed logo's and phrases on them - the satirical sort. Anyway, only very recently have I started using sites, SEO and backlinking to make my site gain more visitors - as more visitors gains more sales - right? Well, maybe not in my case - or am I only scratching the surface. So far I've had just under 1000 visitors on my site with only one sale this is slightly become a concern for me as it's not like that one sale has earned me much. On the other hand I know for sure that alot (maybe a quarter of visitors) are repeat viewers who know me from forums and are checking up on me. Also, (this may be the biggest reason for not many sales) I don't know if just under 1000 visitors is really that much? I read somewhere that most top sites have millions of viewers a day so perhaphs I shouldn't be to worried? Another factor of little sales could be the recession? I have had serious enquires on around 20 shirts, some being bulk, some being for themselves. This means I've spent hours making designs which in the end have been turned down - which every customer has replied 'it's good,it's just money is tight at the moment'...or words to that effect.
For the time being it's not a major worry. So far I'm just trying to establish myself and gain better site rankings and a good reputation. Thanks for reading, I hope you guys can help. |

Traffic Exchanges will not help you much with your t-shirt business. It is the nature of your business that makes TEs a total waste of time.
For free traffic do SEO and if you have a budget try googles PPC (AdWords). |
