I'm hitting a brick wall with Digg. I'm trying to build a reputation slowly and clean, white hat style. No tricks, etc.

I'm following people I like for real and hoping some will follow me back. Is there a limit to the amount of users you can follow on Digg, similar to Twitter?

If so, whats the best way to increase Digg following?

1.) Digg other peoples submissions
2.) Leave quality comments on articles
3.) Follow other people

Whatever you do, don't Digg and comment every story you see, don't follow every single user and take your time.

Eventually you'll build a quality following on Digg.

Search E-Mail ids of digg user from digg, then invite them on Gmail, Gtalk, fb, skype, make connection,follow them, digg there stories they follow you and dugg your story.

Here are some of the most powerful ways to get more followers on Digg.

Try to submit at least 3 articles or websites that you digg everyday, or at least a few times a week.
Strike a conversation with other members, they will likely reply back and perhaps they will follow you. If they do follow you, you also have the opportunity to get more followers from their list.
Frequently leave comments on other people submissions, if you are consistent enough with the same people, they will surely reciprocate on comments and ratings.
Follow people, follow more people, and finally keep following more and more people.
