I like to share my own experience with stumbleupon which gave me really good number of visitors. I used to stumbleupon my sites and forum but didnt get that much visitors. But here is what I did recently.
1. I just logged in to stumbleupon and stumbled only two most interesting pages of my forum.
2. Then I browsed the stumbleupon site very much and posted comments on different topics,
3. Yes, when you post a comment your comment will appear with link to your profile... the people visited my profile and clicked on the most recent stumbled sites (which were my own sites).
so this is how I got around 600+ visitors in just few hours.

My question about SU is how can we get other people as friends? Most of the accounts I look at are dormant. I tried friending people but never get any back.
I don't stumble junk or spammy stuff. I think it's just that SU community is not strong. |

All hospital employees, including ancillary personnel, such as

| hmmm... thats interesting... I never thought to actually go and comment on other articles that wernt mine. Im going to try it and see how it works. |

| I also got 50 to 60 visitors daily but they are not unique, they are just the same visitors every day. If you want to make friends on stumble then send them message. Many will response. Also many of SU users are related to internet marketing so they also helps in other book marking sites. |
