In my experience, there is only one motivation, and that is desire. No reasons or principle contain it or stand against it.

i'm going to get back to my twittering. took a break because i needed a new laptop. what i find to be helpful since are two things, 1. always keep interrelated connections. with twitter u can see my link to fb and vice versa. 2. since about 75% of the people who follow me on either are not the same, i use ping to post to both simultaneously.

The Twitter is very useful to us ! I have only recently discovered Twitter.

I was initially very resistant to it, and thought it was a waste of time.

But I finally got around to joining it and got hooked pretty quickly.

Still, it's a great tool for increasing your knowledge about  certain subjects and connecting with people who share your interests.

I now spend around two hours a day on average. A bit scary really. I've got to cut down.

I have never used Twitter ... to be honest, I think that Facebook is more useful because it encompasses much more information and creates more opportunities. That opinion is based purely on speculation, though, as I have never used Twitter. Do you suggest I try it?

Twitter doesn't really work if you have no followers.
