Facebook are far way better than myspace. It drives more traffic than myspace.

MySpace has a more friendly interface and allows you to jump right in and start promoting. If your profile has good content and you add friends with similar interests, you should be able to compile a HUGE friends list in just a few weeks. After you have some friends, blogs and comments are a good way to get links and other promotion in their face.

I'm a member of both, myspace I could have my profile layout the way I want, facebook I enjoy to play some games and keep in touch with people I've met online.

If you don't like Facebook nor Myspace, you can use Twitter instead!.. Participating in social networking sites will help you generate more traffic..

It depends on the audience you want to reach. The only thing you should try to market on MySpace these days is maybe a band or something music-related. Personally, though, of course I favor Facebook overall.
