Ok, so I recently joined Facebook. I have been with Myspace for 3 years and am more than happy with that, but all this noise about how greatFacebook is and so much better it is than Myspace, add the peer pressure off some of my friends who love it there, I finally gave in and thought to join sooner than later.

to begin with, what is all this nonsense about having to use your real name? no way am I pleased with that. I can see it makes it easier to find people that way, but what about your privacy and wanting to have an anonymous name?

Secondly, am I right in thinking that to make Facebook into this wonderful site so many people talk about, that you have to add a bunch of different apps? Without them there really is no point in it, but how can we be sure that it can be safe to have all these apps anyway?

Why dont they show last login details of a person? That is bad because you never know the last time a friend was on!

I decided to go private but would like to invite some friends, is there a banner type of thing I can use to put on my myspace page?

Sorry for all the questions, but I am quite confused about it all and wonder if  there is something missing ?

It looks like the FONWAR social network believes that spamming forums is a good way to get new members.

I am also a member of Facebook as well as myspace but i am not active as others because i found it boring unlike friendster. I am on most at the time at my friendster account. i guess it is better than facebook and myspace.

i actually didn't use my real name when i registered, i made up both last and first name. apps are not a must, but it's just more fun. I personally don't see any harm in apps, they are not taking up space on my computer or anything.

I have tried the facebook but it doesn't work! The most important thing is that I don't know how to use this tool since I am a chinese. I am not very familiar with facebook! If someone can help me, I would be very grateful.
