Actually this is not a bad technique!! You'll get both unique and repeat visitors!! Realize, the newsfeed is from friends, I have over 900; but your friends of friends will see when people post on your comment and so on, so it's a great advertising tool, just the same as twitter! It's the same concept, think about, why else are we gaining friends? I can careless about what's on TV or where you bought your shoes or what club you went to! With this technique and so many people, the only ones visiting are those interested in what you're offering. Also, facebook has classified ads and work at home groups with 1000's of members. Now, Myspace has the same type of stuff going on, utilize these tools to drive more traffic and hit your target market!!
