A lot of people are using blekko search engine to check backlinks

Just go to blekko.com and do a search like this

mysite.com /seo

Otherwise you can login to the Bing webmaster tools and use them

You can check backlinks of any website from backlinkwatch.com

just make sure that you know which links should be the biggest and compare a few different reports, you may find the information about how they grade links to differ dramatically, which will affect how you view your competitor links

You can check backlinks easily.. There are many online tools for checking the backlinks...
For example: backlinkwatch.com...
