I create about 30-50 do-follow back links per day but you can do unlimited back links. I mean as possible as for you.

Hi All, I have a quick question.
Since things change so often I was curious if I had an incorrect outlook on effective backlinking with directories. So rather than state what I think is correct, is there anyone who has solid info on how many backlinks to post? Daily, weekly, monthly, spacing between posts, etc.

No one will able to tell that for sure. It will totally depend on your website and link pattern. At start, you can build few links per day and can gradually increase.

I create about 100+ do-follow back links per day. I think it is enough for me. Thanks.

I think problem comes from getting too many backlinks from the same site more than many backlinks. Think if you haveĀ  article that gets on front page of Digg. It will get a lot of link fast but if you have 100 links from the same site in one day it might be problem.

Is having a backlink promotes your website to a higher rank?

Low and slow is the way to go. No one knows the exact number except Google. They set the rules for aged and new domains differently. A new site of course wouldn't have 10K links naturally. It's a different story for aged domains and the size too.
