Hi All, I have a quick question. Since things change so often I was curious if I had an incorrect outlook on effective backlinking with directories. So rather than state what I think is correct, is there anyone who has solid info on how many backlinks to post? Daily, weekly, monthly, spacing between posts, etc.
I think problem comes from getting too many backlinks from the same site more than many backlinks. Think if you have article that gets on front page of Digg. It will get a lot of link fast but if you have 100 links from the same site in one day it might be problem.
I think you should post as many as you can as long as you are not doing automated spam techniques. Google search can see right through spam link building techniques since Panda update. You should build natural links.

In theory google is clever enough to work out what is natural itself.
that means post as often and as fast as you can manually manage. As long as anchor text changes and you have some niche site posts, then it will be happy that it is finding new links.
