One of my wordpress blog now shows a link from wikipedia and I was wondering are they follow links? Also are they good for SEO? Do they help you out with se's?

It has no anchor text just a link in the reference on an article

unfortunately, they are nofollow links so they don't help you for seo. the only way in which they would help you, besides for maybe bringing some traffic, is if other websites copy the links from wikipedia and remove the nofollow.

I`ve heard rumors that some new sites with just links from Wikipedia actually accumulated some pagerank. SEO legend I guess.  tails

Wikipedia is NOFOLLOW so no juicy will be given to you but it will still be indexed and probably will generate more traffic.

Wikipedia links do have value even if they are nofollow. If Google is serious about authority pages passing juice, then by logic a Wikipedia link must carry some weight in their algorithm. Google treats Wikipedia differently than any other site.

they are not good for SEO since they are nofollow links. But they can drive traffic to your site.
