it is a good way to seo. But you should commet as the blogger need. Don't leave spam there.

In theory this work helps, but in fact it's hard and take time. Most of blogs are nofollow and people usually come to the blogs to scan and post comment, then leave??

A link is a link more or less...depends on the page it is on (PR), as well as if it's in content or not, which it will be if it's wrapped in a blog comment. They definitely work.

Yup, blog commenting is one of the most effective ways to cherry pick high PR specific pages. This coupled with quantity allows you to rank well for your terms, depending on their competition.

Blog Commenting is one of the best way to popularize your blog, it doesn't matter if a blog is dofollow or nofollow. Still it can help you. Both in term of traffic and SEO.

Blogs still an effective method of link building, But one thinfg i add in it , too much comments at once are harm ful for SERP .

I've read on another forum that blog commenting is very good for SEO. I've been advised to only use 'dofollow' blogs and to keep it relevant to the website youre trying to promote.
