you should use this as extension with you keyword that you can get easily

You can also use "related" operator for google if you have a one such kind of site then you will easily find related to this site.

I do not know, how this .edu websites provide benefits to a website by linking to it? If let's say it is not niche related and it's nofollow, is this any good?
