Hi, sorry to ask such a dumb question but I'm new to all this. Exactly what do you do to optimise your site for a search engine? Can anyone give me some pointers ? |

Here are some of the factors that needs to be considered with regards to Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
On-Page Optimization - it deals with the proper use of title tags, meta tags, alt attributes, description, keywords, content, h/h1 tags, sitemap and robots.txt.
Off-Page Optimization - it deals with building links. Social bookmarking, article submission, link exchange, hub page and press release are just some of the techniques that falls under Off-Page.
