I'm hearing a lot of talk about purchasing structured settlements as an investment vehicle.

Is there any way a typical investor can purchase structured settlements or is it just an investment tool for institutional use ?

I do believe that purchases must be made by institutions but you can invest in a fund that covers this area of investment.
