All you hear about when it comes to PPC marketing is Google. But a lot of people forget about the power of Yahoo Search Advertising.

Yahoo Advertising is better for newbies because it allows you to link directly to your affiliate site and you don't have to go through a landing page (like with google). This means newbies don't even need their own website to start making money.

Yahoo is also awesome because when you sign up with $30 you can get $100 worth of advertising free. I did this and I made over $300 with my first $30...not bad ay?

When I am a professional affiliate marketer then I will switch over to Google. But Yahoo is definately the place for newbies

I have tried both Google and Yahoo but I found that Yahoo is more difficult because it can eat up all your budget if you don't watch what you're doing. I don't suggest people just jump in with Yahoo. Google is the standard so it is better to start with them.

I've never used either one, however, given two competing services where one is Yahoo and one is not, I will generally avoid the Yahoo one. Yahoo makes things annoyingly complex and often difficult to use.

When I click a link and I get that ugly Yahoo sign-in screen, I'd say that most of the time I'll simply close the tab instead of signing in. It takes a real effort to make me want to use anything they offer.

I have also used both, and like Google better.  I will say that everyone is different and what works for me not work for you.  I have had just too many problems with Yahoo, but I see your point about no landing page.

Has anyone tried MSN Adcenter? I seem to be having the best luck with them.

Yahoo and MSN actually convert a lot better for me as compared with Google. My 2 cents.

Yahoo is not available worldwide. and MSN traffic doesn't convert into good CPC customers.

Really bad advice. I started with Yahoo first and man was it a pleasure when I moved on to Google. In fact, I haven't advertised with Yahoo since the rollout of Panama. What a crappy system it was, I just gave up completely on it. Good riddance Yahoo, I was a former diehard fan.
