Dan, Thanks for dropping by here. Here's a few questions several of us here have.
In reference to the image below...

1.) What is the significance of the "Number of Deployments" field ? 2.) Are we required to name the creative and enter our ML password and press "Deploy Creatve" every time we want to generate a creative ?
In my case, I have set Sub ID's I use across all my program (ie: C4GC4G for this site). I've been putting the site's Sub ID in the name field, putting a 1 in the number of deployments and putting in my password and pressing the "Deploy Creative" button each time I generate a creative.

Some publishers use deployments instead of sub ids to track.
2.) Are we required to name the creative and enter our ML password and press "Deploy Creatve" every time we want to generate a creative ?
No, you can simply copy and paste the code directly from the box; as is.
If you want to continue using sub ids, you can do so by placing your code for thh sub id after the &s1= in your link.
Feel free to post if you have any other q's :)

Thanks for the explaination Dan. Dave redirected me from his blog over to this thread because I couldn't figure this out for myself
Good to see ML managers are active on forums like this. It saves time sending emails back and forth if somebody asks a question a lot of people have and it is published on the net so somebody can direct you to the answer. |
