How do I stop Chinese spammers from spamming my blog? Every day I check my blog comments and there is 50-60 comments of nothing but spam. When I check the ip address it's almost always Chinese spammers. I'm also seeing a lot of Indonesia, Philippines and Pakistan spammers.
They are also taking up my bandwidth I need to serve real visitors.
Is there a way to stop Chinese spammers? |

I find the Chinese spammers are pesky little creatures. Annoying as hell and life would be simpler if I could flip a switch saying "All Chinese blog comment are spam".
Chinese spammers don't use bots which makes them difficult to detect and block. They sit there and do their spamming by hand.
There also needs to be a way to complain to Chinese ISP's about Chinese spammers. |

| Not all Chinese are spammers but the ones who do spam give a bad reputation to all. I don't agree with blocking the entire country. That is not a good way to handle the problem. |

It's not that I don't like Chinese people or China but the spam is so much that I have to find a way to cut it off.
I don't want to close comments on my blog for everyone because of the few that spam.
I wish there were a better solution to stop Chinese spammers without hurting the non-spammers. |
