So many people are on the blog train. They all follow the same track that promises riches. Is it true or false? Do people really make money from their blogs? Enough money to quit your job or pennies per day?

It takes a lot of time in my experience to get the momentum going but once you do, it's the best "list building" tool out there in my opinion.

There are also blogs that make money without being just a way for building lists, those I find quite difficult to create. However, I think it all depends to 3 things: niche selected, targeted keywords and content written.

add good and unique content, build links and advertise, submit your articles to social bookmarking sites and be prepared to do alot of work and not make any money for a while.

If you make 5 to 10 posts a day, each consisting of at least 300 words, and if you build at least one or two backlinks to your site each day, you will probably be able to live on that income within about 9 to 12 months.
