I am starting to venture into this paid to post business. Do you think that if you ran a video game related news blog, people would read it? And you could get targeted posts from paid to post?

I suppose you are referring to paying people to post on your blog, and I'd say it's unnecessary. Invest any money in SEO and promotion, and people will come naturally.

It would be a good source of extra income. You can also find clients that would hire you to maintain their established blogs on a daily or weekly basis.

I think those days are over. Google is too unforgiving to paid bloggers. If Google hands them all penalties, nobody will use it.

Paid to post companies still have to review your site's traffic and page ranking before you can actually post for them. But I've read somewhere that it pays well.
