I earn from affiliate marketing through my blog. I don't work with Google adsense. But I promote my blog heavily and am making sales. It can be done, with a lot of work and consistency.

Totally agree wrahilly. Adsense is not as good of a money maker as affiliate programs. You have to find a few good offers for your blog and work them but they can pay off.

I think consistency is one of the most important factors in blogging if you want to make money. I let off my blogs for a few months here and there and I saw a dramatic drop in traffic. It takes a while to get the traffic back too.

This is a great inspiring story for bloggers. I actually earn from blogging earlier than before G is penalizing blogs for accepting paid or sponsored blog posts and reviews. But lately I realize that there are more than to it and I am making money, enough for my simple living.
