I started a work at home business about 4 years ago.  I learned a lot since getting involved in working my own business.  First, I do suggest that you select 3 different methods of marketing your business and work them consistently.  It might help to put a 90-day plan together and work your 90-day plan over and over again.  If something in you plan is not working, replace it with something else, but don't quit.  Some offline marketing methods are flyers, business cards, mailing postcards, newspaper ads.  They all work, but you must be consistent, try it out for about 30 days and if it doesn't work, try the next thing. But, keep working your selected methods over and over again!

Yes, Dannielle, that is correct, but what stops most people is fear, fear of the unknown and fear of change; which essentially is fear of the unknown. In order to make a change for the better in our lives we must learn to accept change; mostly change in ourselves.  Many people are uncomfortable with change because it means stepping outside of one's comfort zone; it's scary.  But, if you don't, if you tend to stay where you are comfortable, you will not achieve and grow and learn more about what you are capable of.  Let it go. Take some risks.  Follow those dreams.  Remember when you were a child and you used to climb trees and jump from roof tops, and rode your bike or skateboard fast, you may have gotten hurt, fell down, but what did you do?   You got back up and did it all over again, maybe not immediately, but in time you did.  What happened to all of us adults where we stopped taking risks?  Answer, Life right?. But you shouldn't let life's experiences take away your hopes and dreams.    How do you know that you are all that you can be if you don't step out of that comfort zone and take risks, Live and Love Life!

Great advise there....

I quit my job after 10 years with the company end of last year (2006), to spend more time with my family, due to lots of traveling, especially to 3rd world country.
My wife & 3 kids simply love having me around.

Tried internet marketing, but found it to be very challenging, and you can say.... not very rewarding.
Others seems to be making more money from you that you can make online.

We'll I'm still persist in it, and intend to push through, now with a more laid-out plan of actions.

I've also gotten onto Web-Portal Online Education Program, that's allows me to make some REAL Money for the last 3 months.
Around US$1,500 each month.

Yes, investment is needed, but money makes money.....

For those who is still struggling to start a home based system, my sincere advise, to get something that can
make you some money (even a few hundred bucks per month), that helps to pay for handphone charges,
electricity, internet charges, phone/fax, Hosting Charges for Web-site, etc...

I know it, as I've been there.... counting every cent of what I spent on everyday.
It really helps.

Feel free to contact me. I'm starting my own Internet Marketing Newbie Forum (WISNetworkhub) to help those starting out to understand the internet marketing Biz a bit better and easier.

Hi there,

I've been trying Internet marketing for a couple of months now.

"The fact that 95% of all those who do ONLINE Biz has failed" really hit back at me and I guess to many people who tried it out and Failed.

Don't despair... You are not alone.
It's absolutely normal.

What you should do is to continue to believe that Money can be made ONLINE, and the Successful ones are those who persist.

Guess what .... I'm presently in an Internet Marketing 3-days Conference in Singapore -  Internet Millionaire Incubator 2

I'm promoting a new Ebook for Home-Made Jewelry & Accessories How-to Guide (http://mlnetbiz.com/Ebook-prelaunch.htmll)

I'm looking for Affiliates to sell my products now.....

I'm also offering my services of "How to get your web-site listed in Google, Yahoo & MSN from 48 hrs to 1 week".

I'm into CLICK & EARN Program (http://mlnetbiz.com/XMT.htm) that is now starting to give
me a Steady Stream of Income from my investment, and then this is continuing my quest for venturing into Internet Marketing.

For those who are keen to join my team, whom we help each other in areas of Internet Marketing.

If you don't fail a few times and pick yourself back up and start again, you'll never be prepared for when real hard times come knocking.

That's so true about any business venture. You have to keep plugging away until you find something that sticks.
