This is a simple question. How important is it for search rankings to have keywords in your domain name?

Does Google give more relevance to a website with keywords in the domain name for search rankings?

There is plenty of evidence that exact match domains are given some additional weight by Google, for example eBooks.com and RealEstate.com; notwithstanding, Google is considering the change of core elements of its algorithim which could heavily change the way Google ranks exact match domains. Webmasters debate whether including keywords in domains (not exact matches) helps your position in Google.

It is not the main factor, but it helps... I always try to get domains with my targeted keywords. OK, only that will not place you in #1 by itself, but one would be a fool if he did not grab all the opportunities...

Google gives more priority to keywords having domains, so its better if you will choose some keywords having domains to get higher ranking in search engines.
