The world cares very little about what a man or woman knows; it is what a man or woman is able to do that counts.

Steve Jobs may be gone but the slew of Apple lawsuits continues. Fron the Fusible article Apple files domain name dispute over AppleStores.com, UsedMacs.com, it seems Apple is on the warpath to snatch every domain name they didn't register in the first place.

Quote
Apple’s legal department has been keeping busy in 2011, filing a new domain name dispute with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) over five names which belong to the same owner: Wachter Consulting Inc.

A total of ten cases have been filed by Apple Inc in 2011 going back to January, when Apple filed a complaint over aplle.com and won.

The domains involved in the latest dispute (WIPO case number: D2011-1866) include: applestores.com, imacstore.com, macdaily.com, mactimes.com, and usedmacs.com.

I personally don't like these big companies like Apple bullying people with lawsuits over trivial domain names they probably should have registered for themselves. If they really want the domain name bad enough, they should pay the domain owner a reasonable amount and be done with it.

It makes me sick to think of all the money wasted in frivilous lawsuits by companies like Apple. They could take the money they pay their lawyers and feed half the starving children in the world.

I'm sorry but Apple just isn't the friendly, happy company Apple fans make it out to be. It's just another sleazy, dirty corporation the likes of which are destroying our world with their greed.

Did you eat today? There millions of people starving in the world.
