Both Oracle and SQLServer are expensive enterprise database solutions. These days MySQL is being used for 90% of all web applications and it's free.
As for differences between Oracle and SQLServer, Oracle has much better transaction handling, better disk management, the ability to strip data across disk arrays and mor efficient stored procedures. |
