Our moments of inspiration are not lost though we have no particular poem to show for them; for those experiences have left an indelible impression, and we are ever and anon reminded of them.

Sarah just told me about fillo pastry. I don't buy any pastry as I make it myself & that's why I don't know these brand name stuffs. Puff
pastry is nice with curry puffs but it is too rich with the amount of fat as I used to make it after my cookery course in London. I only make
short crust pastry now as it takes less time to make it & is healthier. In fact flaky pastry is just as good as puff pastry with slightly less fat.

Dave, your Prosciutto Pockets look great but I seldom take deep fried foods for a long time. I can imagine it will be great for parties.
They remind me of those Indian samosas which are deep fried too. I've given up deep fried foods.

With curry puffs you can freeze them after wrapping without baking & they will keep for quite a while. I always bake them the same day I
need them but they taste good the next day too.
