This is a good recipe for Christmas time & I've made it many times.

Ingredients:
2 cups flour    1 cup icing sugar    1/4 cup cornstarch   1 cup butter or margarine

Method:
1. Cream butter & work in icing sugar until creamy
2. Sift together cornstarch & flour and gradually add to the butter mixture, keep blending until mixture breaks
3. Kneed & form into a ball
4. Roll out 1/4 inch thick & cut into desired festive shapes
5. Bake at 325 degree F until lightly golden or for approximately 12 mins.

That sounds easy enough to try. I'm not good at baking because I always over bake or under bake because I got a gas oven in the house we moved into and I'm not used to cooking with gas over electric.

This is a very simple recipe & you can't go wrong with it. If you have an oven with a glass door, it is useful as you glance at the cookies
without opening the door. I baked this cookie practically every Xmas when my girls were with me & from experience it takes about
12 mins & no more than 15 mins. I prefer gas to electric oven.
