I would suggest you upgrade for better security reasons. It is very easy to upgrade, just don't forget to back-up your files and database first. It has an instructions also, don't worry.

I agree with Dave, its often a good idea to wait a little while while any bugs are sorted out unless the new version has specific features you require. The same could be said for any software upgrade, ie mozilla, IE etc etc.
There are plenty of step by steps lists on how to upgrade wordpress around, the main one of course being on the Wordpress Codex site.

Go ahead an upgrade your Wordpress. I believe they company even recommends it. I have upgrade my Wordpress over the years whenever their is a new version and as of yet I have not encountered any problems at all.
