Actually I have tried many times to profit somehow from affilate site. Without any succes. I had even a website with a lot of traffic - always thisame result - 0 earnigns. The thing is that the visitor has to click on your banner and then buy somethings. Come on how many times did you buy something after you just entered a particular shop... hmm??

ClickBank is a pretty decent program but you really have to connect your member base with relevant advertising to make any sales. .
I opened a clicknbank account once as I joined an affiliate program. I found it hard to sell the googlecash ebook & hence my clickbank a/c became inactive & got deleted. So I don't bother with it now. I'll only join affiliate programs that will pay by check so that I don't have a time frame to get it deleted.
I got my last two checks from them, but my sales (on other sites) have dropped dramatic with clickbank recently. I'm starting to migrate more of my ad space to AdBrite unless I have pre-paid direct advertising. I really don't trust Google because of all the bad things I've heard about them. Commission Junction just doesn't seem to work much anymore, now I feel the same about Chitika and Clickbank.
