I guess I am what you might call an Ex-Clickbank Affiliate. I was using them for a while and I’ve gotten to the point where I can't support them for their shady business practices. Not only do they have any quality control over products, they let advertisers make false statements and other forms of false advertising to lie to people.
I’ve always had a strong moral compass when promoting products. I never promoted a thing that looked any where near untrue or scam like. That means I never promoted a single product telling you how to set up a wordpress blog and how it would make you a $100,000/year with 6 minutes of work a week. It means I never promoted a product telling you that you can run your car on water with a few mason jars. It also meant that I didn’t promote the hacking/warez products, which seem to be fair game with Clickbank.
On the consumer end, I could tell you exactly what happens behind the scenes at Clickbank that will literally shock you. You’ll feel like a sucker for buying such an obvious scam in the first place.
As an affiliate, you should hear about their poor business practices and how they screwed me out of 90% of my sales. |
