I'm hearing a lot of people here grumbling about Clickbank Marketplace and Unreasonable Policies, specifically about Clickbanks CDR policy for issuing affiliates their first paycheck.
ClickBank will withhold the first check to be issued from your account until the payable balance contains sales made with 5 or more different credit card numbers, including at least one Visa card, and one MasterCard in order to be eligible to receive a check. PayPal and e-check purchases do not count toward the minimum. It is also required that the check balance reaches the Payment Threshold amount you have chosen in your account. The default Payment Threshold is set to $100, however you can change the Payment Threshold in your account at any time.
I know that in my case, the most difficult part of meeting Clickbank's demands was waiting for somebody to use a MasterCard to make a purchase. After seeing my Clickbank account debited in the past, I knew I had to act quick and get a MasterCard sale. I don't have a MasterCard myself and didn't know anybody who had one, so I took matters into my own hands and got a prepaid MasterCard from AccountNow and purchased a $10 e-book that I actually wanted from ClickBank and the starting the following month my ClickBank checks were finally released.
AccountNow offers both prepaid MasterCard and Visa cards that are great for freeing your ClickBank earnings as well as registering a Paypal account. You don't need a bank account and there's no credit check, so it's perfect for struggling marketers or students on a limited income.

If you have more than one ClickBank Account, this can really help you get past the CDR policy and get paid by Clickbank faster.

| Good advice for CB promoters. It's hardest to get your first chek released. I'm still waiting over a year to get the 5 credit cards on file. |

I believe it's only on your first check though. So eventually people will make payments using the other methods and you will get paid.
Then after that it doesn't matter how they pay, you get the earnings you have coming to you twice per month. At least that is how I take it.
I believe it's their way of making sure the sales made on your account aren't all from you just so you can get a discount on the products and make some money in the process. |

| Just be careful with Clickbank because after I think it's 90 days if for some reason you haven't made a sale, they consider you to be inactive and they start charging you for the use of their services. |
