The Engine: The engine is a 2.0LB This engine originally came from a Datsun truck I believe. It's got dual carbs.

The engine above was sold in October 2006. We'll be putting in a new engine. Most likely the SR20DET from the Japanese Sylvia's.

New Parts that have been purchased for the Car!! Don't ask how much I've paid for these parts.
Disc brake conversion from the original drum brakes!

Racing only eh? hmmmm

Wheels: These wheels are WIDE!!!

The seats got a little dirty at the shop, we'll be customizing them anyway so no worries there.

Brand new Suspension parts: These are the 5 way adjustable Coil Overs!!

Say goodbye to the Door Handles!! The door handles will be removed and cut out. We will weld over the door handle and it will look as nothing was ever there. With a push of a button, the doors will open up.

Performance Handling Kit / Conversion Kit: We ordered this from Australia. By installing this kit, the car will feel as if it's riding on rails. It will enhance the handling and cornering of the car drastically. Also by using this kit, we won't have to make custom brackets for the new engine that we are putting in. We will simply drill two holes and the engine will fit right in.This will replace a lot of the old parts in the engine bay and there will be no more weird noises from the suspension and steering column. After all, this car is 37 years old!!

The Deconstruction: Time to tear this baby apart!!

New side rockers. The original ones were 37 years old and rusted. In the picture below, new ones have just been welded.

New door and also, the vents have been removed. They will be shaved and look as if nothing was ever there.

The rear vent that I was talking about. Before and After picture. Also, notice the side marker lights in this before and after picture.

Various deconstruction pictures as well as before/after pictures
In this picture, the dashboard has been removed. It will be replaced with a custom fiberglass dashboard.

The Dashboard: Before/After pics

Thats all the pictures I have available at the moment. Progress on this car has been pretty slow and I'm not sure when it will be completed. If not by the end of this summer, hopefully the next summer for sure. I'm not in a hurry. If I take more pictures, I will post them. I also bought a new fuel cell(Gas Tank) for the car, I don't have pictures of it though. Fuel cells are safer than conventional gas tanks. In case of a car crash, the gasoline won't ignite in a fuel cell.(Hopefully!!) lol |

Thanks, but it might be a while before more work gets done to the car. I'll make sure to add new photos if I get any, and I'm waiting for the day that the car gets completed.
ps... I used to watch that "Pimp My Ride" show all the time. I haven't seen it in a while though. |
